Join Our Team as a Part-Time Discovery Coach!
Are you passionate about soccer and excited to make a positive impact on young players? The Delaware Union Discovery Program is seeking dynamic and committed Part-Time Discovery Coaches to join our team for an exciting soccer journey!
About Us
We are dedicated to nurturing the soccer talents and spirits of U3 to U6 boys and girls through a fun and engaging 7-week program. As a Discovery Coach, you will be an integral part of creating a supportive environment that fosters skill development and a lifelong love for the game.
What You'll Do
- Lead small groups of young players in interactive sessions.
- Introduce and reinforce soccer skills tailored to their developmental level.
- Design and facilitate engaging soccer-related activities and games.
- Create an inclusive atmosphere that promotes growth and teamwork.
- Follow our structured curriculum to ensure consistent skill progression.
- Ensure safety by implementing protocols and guidelines.
Qualifications We're Looking For
- Experience working with children in coaching, teaching, or mentoring.
- Soccer enthusiast with a strong grasp of basic techniques.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Patience and adaptability for different age groups.
- Enthusiasm for creating a positive learning environment.
- Applicants must be at least 16 years old.
Details
- Availability on Saturdays from September 9 to November 4 (excluding 9/23 and 10/7).
- Compensation: $15.00/hour for coaching sessions.
- Location: Odessa High School.
