Dominican Republic Women's National Soccer Team to Train at Delaware Union’s Middletown Village Fields

Middletown, Delaware – September 12, 2023

In an exciting development for soccer enthusiasts in Delaware, the Dominican Republic Women's National Soccer Team is set to make a special appearance at Middletown Village Fields. This collaboration marks a unique opportunity for local players and fans to engage with international talent and showcases Delaware Union Soccer Club's commitment to fostering the beautiful game.

The agreement includes:

Field Usage: The Dominican Republic Women's National Team will have access to fields Monday, September 18th, through Wednesday, September 20th. Sharing the Middletown Village Fields with Delaware Union teams, enhancing the sense of community and sportsmanship.

Fan Engagement: Fans and local players are in for a treat as the Dominican Republic Women's National Team players will be available for photos and autographs on Monday, September 18th. Additionally, they will lend their expertise by assisting with technical drills and providing feedback to Delaware Union players on Tuesday, September 19th.

John Marte, Coordinator for the Dominican Republic Soccer Federation, expressed his excitement, saying, "As part of our preparation for the upcoming Women's Gold Cup Qualifiers, our Women's National Team is thrilled to have our training camp here in Delaware. We are grateful for the opportunity to utilize the fantastic facilities at Middletown Village Fields."
